๐ก While work is important and we are all very committed to it, we also appreciate and value life outside work. Remote working gives us the freedom and flexibility that we all want. It allows us to slow down and spend more time doing what we love with the people we love.
Communication, trust and common sense are the key ingredients to make it work. ๐

๐ย Working Guidelines:
- You can work from home, a cafe or a co-working space, it's totally up to you. Choose a quiet and distraction-free working space that suits you and that doesn't impact your work.
- Your workspace choice needs to be adequate for your job responsibilities. Roles that involve lots of calls don't allow for a coffee ambient, as there is too much background noise & calls may include confidential information. Use your common sense.
- Make sure to have a comfy set up (whatever that means to you, desk, chair, sofa, etc) so you're in the best conditions to work and enjoy it (Perks & Benefits)
- Make sure to have a stable internet connection thatโs adequate for your job (calls should never be disturbed because of poor connection) and a good microphone.

๐ We trust each other to deliver results and do what needs to be done. We don't have a 9 to 5 set up and you can manage your own time but we trust one another to do our jobs and be responsible for delivering and shipping our projects. Trust and common sense are key for this to work well.

โ๏ธย Communication:
- We are async by default: We prioritise written communication and loom video to communicate about work.
- When working remotely, communication is the absolute most important. You should over-communicate with your team. Please respect this at all times.
- If you won't be reachable for a specific time (because you have a doctor's appointment or a handyman is coming to your house), you should communicate this to the entire team inside the core channel in Slack. Ask the team if it's okay for everyone and make sure everyone knows (so that nobody gets stuck in their work if youโre working with others).
- Please refer to our communication bible: Communication Guide: Async by default ๐
